This hunt offers pure wilderness hunting in some of the most spectacular and unspoilt country on earth. Tahr and chamois inhabit alpine wilderness with towering peaks, bushclad valleys and crystal clear waters all of which provide for an unforgettable hunting experience. with remarkably high success rates.
We reccomend 8 days of hunting on the western side of the majestic Southern Alps. Transport into the hunting area and pick up after the hunt by chopper.

All trophies taken, guiding 1 by 2, field preparations of trophies, pick up and drop off from Queenstown, accommodation, pick up and drop off by chopper and if necessary one trip to change the hunting area, rifle for the use during the hunt.
Evening meal on the first and the last day, taxidermy work and shipping of the trophies, tip.

Tahr and Chamois can be hunted throughout the year in New Zealand. The best time is during the rutting season starting early Mai until late June.
